[WEB-SERIE] Sourcing around the world – France Episode 2 – Organic Yellow Gentian Roots For this third season of our web series, we take you on a tour to the heart of french biodiversity to discover the women and men who bring us the best that nature has to offer, particularly for responsible, sustainable, transparent, effective and made in France cosmetics. In this 2nd episode, you will meet our partner Stéphanie Flahaut, animator of the interprofessional association of the Yellow Gentian, "Gentiana Lutea", in Anzat-le-Luguet in the Puy-de-Dôme. The yellow gentian (also called "Queen of the mountains") is an emblematic medicinal plant of the Auvergne, whose root use requires sustainable management of the plant. This is the mission of Gentiana Lutea, which federates actors present at all levels of the industry and implements tools (e.g. Guide to good harvesting practices) for the sustainable management and economic development of the gentian resource in the Massif Central.
