Hammock Camping In The Rain!

I am not the biggest fan of camping in the rain, but my first hammock camp turned out to be a wet one. Having done quite a few "normal" camping trips on Dartmoor, I decided that it was time to face my fears and get out for a Solo Hammock Camp. It was slightly tricky finding a spot to hang my Hammock, because there is not a lot of woodland on Dartmoor, and and even smaller amount which you are allowed to camp in. But after a while I found a candidate and headed out. The camp site was a little bit buggy, but, I managed to get the Hammock and Tarp set up with no issues. The Hammock was very comfortable, and the Tarp kept me dry during the constant rain that started around midnight. All in all it was a good camp, and I am looking forward to getting out in the Hammock again soon, will just need to scour my Dartmoor map for some other spots!
