On my journey from Goa to Udupi, the landscapes were as memorable as the meals — from lush farms and backwaters to beaches that looked untouched. Along the way, I found myself at a roadside market digging into unexpected plates, stumbled on a Hyderabadi biryani far from home, and even shared bites with a furry friend. A stop at Karwar brought me inside a warship museum, while Gokarna welcomed me with one of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever seen and a comforting plate of dal, rice, and masala.
