PoC makes turnaround processes easier and faster We at GroupTalk are proud to announce that Aer Lingus has selected GroupTalk as its new communication solution. The new Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) solution enables direct and encrypted voice communication between the turnaround coordinator, gate agents, marshals, and ramp shift leaders. GroupTalk streamlines communication between ground staff, creating a smoother workflow that improves turnaround times—helping Aer Lingus operate more efficiently and achieve its goals. Aer Lingus has already seen improvements in its turnaround process, saving 12% of its current minimum turnaround time. "I think it is a really good addition to have, and it does save us that bit of extra time." — Alana Sinnott, Turnaround Coordinator (TCO) The Aer Lingus ground staff can now communicate with each other in real time using GroupTalk, instead of walking back and forth between the gate and the aircraft to share important information about boarding, loading baggage, and missing or boarded passengers. We are honored to support Aer Lingus as a customer with secure, efficient, and modern group communication, ensuring seamless collaboration among the ground staff at the airport. We are also excited to explore more ways GroupTalk can enhance efficiency across other areas of Aer Lingus and help them build a bigger and better airline for the future.
