Arguably the best of the Ford XR6 turbo models, the FG generation Falcon was sold from 2008 to 2014. The factory turbocharged Barra 4L six is good for around 360hp with bulk torque from just 1500rpm. Giulio’s XR6 is pretty typical of what you’ll find on Aussie roads. Like many quick Barra’s, the only internal engine modifications are valve springs and heads studs. A larger Garrett turbo and intercooler is in place along with an upgraded fuel system to run E85, which is good for just shy of 700 wheel horsepower. Driveline enhancements consist of a rebuilt ZF trans, tail-shaft and a TCE stall converter.
