Psychiatry and psychotherapy professor Torsten Passie from the Hannover Medical School has been researching psychedelics for a long time: his experience with the legal therapeutic use of psychedelics in Germany and Switzerland leads all the way to the eighties. Passie’s interest in the field was initiated by a spontaneous mystical experience that he found irritating. In his work, he’s mapped out threads such as the history of MDMA and the effects of microdosing, and his broad understanding of psychedelics has been called encyclopedic.
