Lincoln jumped out to a 11-4 lead before Hoover could settle in and keep pace with the Hornets. Hoover was never able to take a lead but kept within striking distance to the end. This was the game of the night as two of the top three teams in San Diego faced off for the right to go to the slim gym for the section title. Hoover's Chris Jones '12 had a game high 25 points which included some nice drives while Morse transfer Jeremiah Turner '13 led the Hornets with 19 points. Lincoln's Jerry Cobb '12 also had a great game with 15 points.
