Paste and Roma type tomatoes are wonderful for sauces and canning and fresh salsas with their meaty texture. They usually have less seeds and no big cores and the shape makes them easy to work with. We process hundreds of pounds of tomatoes each year so we are always looking for good yield and a strong performance in the garden to take advantage of our limited space.
