In 20s, I received notice that the IRS was preparing to take my income tax refund. I owed it. They had the authority to take it. But during that season, I did my very first 10 day fast. I prayed every single day. And that year, they did not take it. I am not saying I did not owe it. I handled what I owed later. But that year, God gave me mercy and delay.
