Water Pump removal with a stuck fan clutch nut 2005 Hummer H2 6.0 Vortec

My fan clutch would not come off with NORMAL methods of pry bar, tighten tensioner, and hit the crescent wrench with a hammer. The method I used was on bolt the fan blade, 4 bolts 13mm. Removed the main drive belt, and all hoses. Remove 2 bolts on radiator shroud. Remove the 6 bolts for the water pump Then lift the water pump, whole assembly (attached clutch fan and fan blade) and the fan shroud up and to the passenger side of the vehicle. It all fits. Once removed from vehicle, be careful to break loose the fan clutch nut and not damage the fan blades. Fan assembly is about $45. The fan clutch is recommended to replace anyway.
