This is the first of 17 DJ mixes I did this year, reflecting the best of the music I heard and played from 1992-2002 - a glorious decade for dance music. This mix is the first of four that focus on 1992-1993, and the phenomenal club Trade at Turnmills where the best dance music was played by the best DJs, in the best venue on earth. I had only just started to DJ myself and these tunes were very influential and inspired me to carry on. Most people remember Trade for being the mother ship of hardhouse, but that style was formed later, and in the early years, the music was much more progressive and European. //Tracklisting 1 Sil - Windows 2 Latitude - Building A Bridge 3 Rhythm Invention - Ad infinitum 4 Brothers Love Dubs - THe mighty ming 5 Jump - Funkatarium 6 Slackjaw - Drive My Body 7 X Press 2 - Muzik Xpress 8 DCO2 - Do what you feel- original mix 9 Chase - Love for the future (the source remix) 10 Gat Decors - passion - naked mix 11 Deep Piece - Panoramic shuffle 12 Stereogen - Hold me 13 Vinyl Blair - scratch and sniff 14 Country and western - reincarnation 15 Hyper go go - Never let go - Mukka Mix 16 Opal - the snake 17 Thk - France - Saturn Mix 18 Chestnut - Pot Of Gold 19 With It Guys - Let The Music Take Control - Dj Pagany Bass Mix 20 Fargetta - The Music Is Movin' - Bam Bam Tribal Mix 21 Stereogen - Castle Vania 22 ABHO - Viewfinder 23 E Trax - Let's rock (Malcolm Duffy Remix) 24 Rollin' Gear - I've Got It - 1993 25 Delta lady - anything you want - dub mix 26 Capricorn - taste me 27 Men of Faith - Dance 28 Transformer 2 - Just Can't Get Enough (Original Perpetual Dub Club) 29 I.C.P - Free And Equal These tracks would have been played by the original line up in 1992 - Malcolm Duffy, Smokin Jo, Daz Saund, Tall Paul, and soon after followed by the legendary Tony De Vit.
