Despite the pandemic situation in 2020 we made the best out of it and created the World Bodypainting Festival Covid Special Edition. What incredible energy we had, even though it was a hybrid event with small local activities and this massive online award. 600+ Participants from 55 nations, painting in 17 timezones! A broadcasting TV Show with interviews, reports of the week, and the connection to 19 hotspots around the world. A historical happening that was possible only with the support and help of many people, sponsors, and supporters. A year later we expected to celebrate with you another live event, where artists from all around the world are gathering in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee in the south of Austria. But the pandemic has not ended and we are going in a second year of a hybrid version.
