This was unexpected but v13.1 brought our first ZL boss with it! Important note! My slow base foundation is level 20. I'm normally not a fan of using base foundations, but I had to go all out considering the difficulty of the stage. In combination with a small defence combo it allows my gold brick to live two hits from soractes which helps a lot in lowering his pushing power. Soractes has crazy stats having a whopping 24k dmg, 30% chance to freeze, 250 standing range, his omni extends to 430 and he has no tba! Despite the only threath being dark doge the boss is so powerful that they cause him to easily push. Octo is pretty much your best staller here so upgrade him as much as you can and get his freeze resist talents giving him an easier time in hitting soractes and weakening him. I'm normally not a fan of using sniper/cyber/metal either as they are limited units, but my best attempt with doubles ururuns gave me 58% and that was on a very lucky run. So decided to no longer hold back. Bullet is legit one of the only units that can consistently hit the doges in front of soractes not even C.A.T. is safe from him. Your goal is to basicly get a second sniper and cyber out so you can consistently keep soractes at bay. While getting to your second sniper and cyber it's important to also make sure to snipe the dark doges with bullet train so you got enough cash for your second cyber and sniper while still being able to spawn your stallers. Breakerblast despite having it's distance reduce is still very nice for keeping soractes at bay. This feels heavily balanced around windy's fourth form or nurse her new sage slayer talent, but I had succes with gao, tessalan and kai. You can even use kai in combination with riceball for a defence combo and even with soractes' chance to freeze she does a really great job stalling here. So maybe this information is useful to you. Some more important notes about octo and cyber Cyber has max slow and attack talents and a attack orb B against black equiped. I didn't do any calculations beforehand so I don't know or it actually mattered when fighting the dark doges. I was just goind full out. Octo has max freeze resist, level 7 hp talents and level 1 weaken talents. Basicly I ran out of np here.
