They said it was 3,500 steps down... but they didn't warn us about the climb back up! 🧗♂️ Join us on a legendary trek through the dense jungles of Meghalaya to the village of Nongriat. This isn't just a hike; it's a test of stamina, a journey across living root bridges, and a discovery of the most turquoise water you've ever seen. We started with a steep descent into the heart of the forest, crossing the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge and swaying hanging bridges that will make your heart race. We pushed further through the humid green canopy to find the Blue Lagoon and the thundering Rainbow Falls. After an overnight stay in the village to recover, we faced the ultimate challenge: climbing those 3,500 steps back to the top. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Location: Nongriat Village, Cherrapunji, Meghalaya. https://maps.app.goo.gl/kH1ZFVpgkPEof... Difficulty: High (Strenuous climbing). Tip: Stay overnight! It allows you to enjoy the Blue Lagoon and Rainbow Falls without rushing the 7,000-step round trip in one day.
