In March 2023, Jalen and his good friend Dustin, bikepacked through two of the British Columbian Gulf Islands. They camped on Pender Island and Galiano Island. 00:00 - Intro 00:31 - Day 1: Tsawassen to Pender Island 04:48 - Day 2: Pender Island to Galiano Island 08:50 - Day 3: Galiano Island to Tsawassen Highlights of the Trip: -The coastal views are special and I recommend making the trip to anyone. By car, bike or foot! -The campsites were almost empty, which is nice because in the summer they are packed. -No mechanical issues with the bikes and no gear failures. Lowlights of the Trip: -March is still cold on the coast. The temperature was 3 degrees Celsius average. -The rain came in and out, which made for a lot of switching layers. -We missed our first ferry due to construction on the Mud Bay trail.
