This place is known for its vibrant energy, chaotic setup, and the huge variety of things you can find. Kian Bazaar is a 24/7 market that’s been running non-stop for over 40 years. It started with just a few small shops back in the late 70s, and now it’s grown into a huge market with over 300 stalls. It’s one of the busiest and most popular spots in Ahwaz, and stepping inside feels like you’ve entered a whole new world. The market is a wild mix of makeshift stalls and shacks, each with its own unique style. Vendors use all sorts of materials – bricks, stones, metal, you name it – to build their stalls. It’s like a patchwork quilt of chaos, with each stall decorated with paint, cloth, burlap, and cardboard. The sounds of Kian Bazaar are just as lively as the sights. Street vendors use loudspeakers to attract buyers and compete with teachers from nearby schools. The energy here is electric, and you can find almost anything you need. But, Kian Bazaar does have some serious challenges. The market suffers from poor sanitation and open sewage, which create health risks for residents.
