Another rare gem from the Curly Chalker archives, this is a split live EP with guitarist Bobby Caldwell which was seemingly recorded at Dewitt Scott's music store in 1973 and released many years later on by Bobby Caldwell himself on CD. The total count of CD’s printed is not known but thought to be very small, perhaps 500 or less. The story goes that the small 'audience' consisted of local (St Louis) musicians gathered in the small display room at Scottys Music. It was actually a 'rehearsal/jam session' on a late Saturday Night before Curly/Bobby played a local concert the next day. This album does not even have a Discogs submission at the time of writing this description. Bobbys and Curly’s musicality fit together like a glove to begin with, and together they would drive each other to, and often beyond, their own musical extremes. For anyone new to Bobby Caldwell, he also recorded albums with Zane Beck, and Julian Tharpe, two steelers who each had a bit of that mind-melting-chord-mastery that players like Curly Chalker and Maurice Anderson possessed. Guitarist Bobby Caldwell is not to be confused with NY jazz singer of the same name, Bobby Caldwell.
