Sir Walter Gun Club – February USPSA | “That Real Gasolina” Stage 1: Came in rusty. Timing was off, grip felt off, and it showed. Rough start to the day. Stage 2: Started getting my head right. Focused on staying clean, ducking foot faults, hitting positions better. Did alright here and began settling in. Stage 3: Favorite stage of the day. Everything felt synced up and flowing… except for that one delta at the end right in front of my face. Stage 4: Decent run. Messed my stage plan up a bit and left a few seconds out there that I should’ve had. Stage 5: Mentally checked out on this one. Boogered a reload and changed my plan mid-stage like an idiot. Needed to be about 5 seconds faster. Stages 6 & 7: Both turned into struggles. Movement and aggression were there, but the hits weren’t. Stage 8: Straight dumpster fire. Three misses dropped me about 4–6 spots on the leaderboard. I’ll blame some of it on the 3-hour drive and the blistering cold, but overall there were still some improvements made and a few things cleaned up before the South Carolina Sectional. Back to work.
