Hey everyone, and welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share a recipe for a unique and flavorful chutney: Sonth Ki Chutney. This tangy and spicy chutney is a perfect accompaniment to various Indian dishes, especially those with rich flavors. It's a great way to elevate your meal and add a burst of flavor to your taste buds. Sonth, or dried ginger, is a key ingredient in this recipe, lending a warm and spicy flavor. Combined with the tanginess of tamarind, this chutney offers a delightful balance of flavors. Let's dive into the recipe! 📜 Ingredients: Tamarind - 200 gms Jaggery - 800 gms Sugar - 200 gms Dried ginger (sonth) - 2 tbsp, powdered Red chili powder - 1 tbsp Fennel seeds - 3 tbsp Black salt - 2 tbsp Salt - 2 tbsp Roasted cumin seeds powdered - 1 tbsp Raisins - 1/4 cup Refined oil - 2 tbsp Kalongi - 1 tbsp Fennel seeds - 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp Hing - 1/4 tbsp Roasted cumin seeds powdered - 1 tbsp 🌟 Instructions: 1) Soak the tamarind pulp in warm water for 10-15 minutes. Extract the pulp and discard the seeds. 2) Boil jaggery over a medium flame with water until turns liquid. 3) Add liquid jaggery and sugar into tamarind pulp and cook them over a medium flame. 4) Prepare a mix of dried ginger, fennel seeds, red chili powder, black salt, salt, and roasted cumin seeds powder. 5) Add a little bit of chutney mix into the powder to avoid lumps and then add it to the entire chutney. 6) Add raisins and let it come to a boil. 7) For tadka, put a pan over medium flame. 8) Pour refined oil. Add kalonji, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, and hing. Let them splutter and add it into the chutney. 9) Finally add roasted cumin seeds powder and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Now its ready.
