Nativ is an Israeli psytrance DJ and producer. His modern psychedelic sound contains elements of retro/goa trance, ambient/new age, and ethnic/world music. Nativ was born in 1985 and grew up in the wild north of Israel, surrounded with the beautiful sounds of mother nature. At the age of 13 he became a DJ. Soon he realized that he had a special connection to sound and music. After serving the army for 3 years, 22 year old Nativ went to India. There he re-discovered the magic of trance and its therapeutic effect on the mind: how the sounds connected him to the earth, stirring a powerful feeling in the soul, taking him towards the same point of light where the journey begins. In India, after playing at a party in the holy city of Rishikesh, it became very clear to him that his mission was to spread this wisdom and happiness to the people of the world through this kind of music. Since then, Nativ has played all over Israel, from the mountains of the north to the deserts of the south, in small underground parties as well as the biggest raves of the country. In 2010 Nativ started producing his own music. His first release was a deep trance remix in Minimal Criminal's "So Ya Lha" EP for Plusquam records(Germany). He collaborated with Minimal Criminal, a well-known psygressive project, on a track called "The Head Pixie's Pot" which has been recently released on a compilation called "Isomorphic Soup" from Indian label, Audio Ashram. Nativ is also a member of the Solaris Project, a production team responsible for massive underground parties in Israel with the biggest artists from all over the world. In 2011 he became a resident DJ at their weekly club night, the Klika, the most successful indoor trance event of Tel Aviv. Throughout the country, Nativ is known for his highly emotional and psychedelic sets, from 2 to 12 hours duration, covering a wide range of trance styles, from minimal/progressive to full-on, always with the ethno-spirit, the retro vibe, and new age consciousness.
