It's Worth It

We live in challenging times. Our culture in North America is becoming increasingly hostile toward biblical truth, and the needs within the Church seem to be growing. Samuel Miller, writing nearly 200 years ago, saw the same thing. He wrote extensively on the dangers and drift of the American culture in which he lived. But then he added this: "Look at these things, beloved Candidates for the holy ministry, and consider seriously what must be the consequence, without a series of miracles, unless the young soldiers coming forward for the service of the Church take care to be adequately girded for the mighty warfare before them…" Miller knew that the work of the ministry required men to be well equipped. Pastoral ministry is a high calling and training for it requires high standards. Please pray for us as we seek to shape the next generation of ministers to proclaim Jesus Christ.
