TANIA BOWRA Heaven & Earth

A fellow youtuber requested this and spookily I had just come across my CD single of Tania Bowra's 'Heaven & Earth' the day before, in a major clean up and clean out of my vast music collection! I had a huge crush on Tania back in the late 80's and early 90's - I loved her brand of contemporary pop/rock sensibilities tinged with a bit of folk. Her beautiful voice was matched by some excellent production and Tania received an ARIA nomination for this debut work. Having seen her live a few times, Tania did not disappoint, with a powerful and versatile voice. I have a few other tracks by her on my channel. Tania has recorded three albums on different labels or distributions; such is the tyranny of the music industry, especially here in Australia, where if you don't have a hit single, you get dropped! 'Heaven & Earth' was issued in late 1989 and I happened across it in early 1990. It was among my most played that year and I made sure I purchased her follow up recordings. I even went to see her live on my birthday - circa 1997 i think! Wow the years fly. Tania is a lovely soul who I briefly corresponded with and got a chance to meet at a gig.
