I crewed for my friend Holly and her AMAZING Asgard Bred Arabian Horse, Poete, Thanksgiving weekend. JD's Carolina Ride -South Carolina Horse Endurance Event has been going on for years. It takes place annually the weekend following Thanksgiving and is a very popular endurance ride. Holly rode in the 100 mile distance and ended up in first place and also won Best Condition! There was also a 30 mile Limited Distance, a Ride and Tye, Intro Ride, and 55, 65 and 75 mile Endurance Distances. This ride was sanctioned by the AERC, American Endurance RIde Conference, The SERA, Southeastern Endurance Riders Association, FEI, International Equestrian Federation and SEDRA, Southeastern Distance Riders Association.
