Is a ThredUp cleanout kit worth it?

It's been a few years since I last tried a cleanout kit with Thredup to sell my unwanted clothes, and quite a few things have changed with their policies and fees, etc since then. So I decided to give it one more go, to see if this process was worth the effort for someone with a pretty average, middle-class American wardrobe, or if I should just skip it and donate directly to my local thrift stores.
