Adding XLR output to vintage Sennheiser MD21 microphone

Vintage microphones are becoming increasingly popular, especially for those into music recording, both professionally and at home. The sound they produce can add that special sound to some instrument recordings, which taps into the quest for the original feel of older recordings. Here is an example, a Sennheiser MD21, which is in excellent condition and is going into service in the studio of a friend of mine. The types of connector used, a Tuchel, does not easily adapt to modern mixing desks, so adding XLR is a must. This is the task covered here. Enjoy, and Happy New Year to all.
