TECH TIPS: Slab Panels and Support Lines

In this video we will discuss slab panels and support lines. Slab panels are non-structural geometric objects defining an area of the slab. They would normally be bounded by support lines. They are currently used in the program for four purposes: 1.Automated pattern loading 2.Summary table of maximum displacement results within the slab panel 3.Summary table of maximum soil pressure within the slab panel 4.Meshing lines along edges of slab panel Support Lines are used as the basis for the creation of objects that are used for slab design such as Design Strips and Slab Panels. For areas where the Design Strips cannot be easily defined based on Grid Systems, it can be useful to manually draw in some Support Lines of your own.
