This eFuse series integrates a full range of high-speed, resettable, and low on-resistance circuit protection functions not feasible with conventional fuses. Circuit protection features include overcurrent protection, input overvoltage and undervoltage protection, inrush current protection, an adjustable inrush current slew rate, thermal shutdown capability, and reverse current blocking when using an external MOSFET. Other features include an operating voltage range from 4.4 volts to 18 volts, an output current range from 0 to 5 amps, and an ambient temperature range from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius.
