In August 2016, after serving 24 years and 27 days behind bars, Tyler was granted clemency by President Barack Obama. He was released on August 30, 2018. Rob Robinson -Co-founder & co-director of the NY Cannabis Alliance, Rob Robinson has been hosting and producing his own fund-raising events & festivals strongly rooted in cultural activism & cannabis law reform. Former director of NY NORML and two-time High Times Freedom Fighter, he also serves as Senior Activist for NY Cannabis Action Network. Donnie Greenthumb has been growing medical marijuana since a very young age. He started working for a greenhouse at 13 years old. He learned so many organic tricks, compost teas, and the importance of soil ph. At 20 years old he wrote for High Times Magazine with John Holmstrom. Between the years 1989-2015 he assisted with writing 187 articles about basic questions, problems with growing, and how to get started in the great outdoors. He also wrote pests and diseases in the Horticulture Medical Growers Bible by Jorge Cervantes. Donnie has had various discussions with many different cultivators throughout the region. Prior to the last two years, Harvest Festival and Freedom Fair was celebrated as a "protestival". We have worked long and hard to earn the respect of the cannabis community in New York (and beyond)!
