I'm a concertina player originally from Limerick, Ireland but I've been living and playing on the Dingle Peninsula, Co. Kerry for about 7 years now. I've been playing music professionally now for the bones of about fifteen years. For the past few years I've been really busy teaching and playing with groups FourWinds, Coast to Coast and lots of duet projects like those with piper Tom Delany and with accordionist Fiona Black etc. Between the jigs and the reels, I've been thinking of recording my solo album for many years now. It's finally happening and I'm so excited to share some of my favourite music with you all! The album features some original compositions and lots of old trad favourites as well as a great collection of my favourite tunes written by contemporary traditional players. I've got some incredible creative support on board. It's recorded with the super-duper Donogh Hennessy here in Dingle and guests so many of my favourite musicians and closest friends. Laura Kerr, Robbie Wash, Ryan Molloy, Tom Delany, Gerry O'Beirne, Gearóid Dineen, Conal O'Kane, Jeremy Spencer and Alec Brown have all come on board.
