No Plan at Expo 2025: 2h48m Full Tour – Gundam, Food & Fountain Show Without Reservations!

I went to Expo 2025 on a whim with zero plans or research! And honestly… I had a blast! That said, if you want to fully enjoy the pavilions, I definitely recommend checking ahead and making reservations. Same-day bookings were confusing and tricky to figure out, so you'll have to get used to the system. You'll be using a lot of QR codes, so having screenshots ready is super handy. Although the gates open at 9:00, I overslept and arrived at the station around 10:00. It only took about 20 minutes to get in from the station. The first place I got pulled into was the gift shop—and I ended up spending over an hour and a half there. I was really craving African food, but even though it said "open," it wasn’t actually open yet… 😅 For Pokémon GO players: There are only a few PokéStops set up for the stamp rally, so you'll run out of Poké Balls quickly. Make sure to stock up before you come! Time to catch all those EXPO Unowns! In the end, the only things I booked that day were Physical Twin Symphony at the Shine Hat and the Gundam Pavilion. I got into TECK WORLD without a reservation. In the evening, I noticed quite a few other pavilions were letting people in without reservations too. As for the fountain show: You can see it from behind without a reservation, but the visuals are fainter and the sound isn’t great. If you want the full experience, go for a front view.
