In today's video we go over to the hackberry park pond and normally the bite doesn't get this good until the springtime. We continue to have some warm weather in February down here in Texas. The conditions were setting up just right for a feeding frenzy. The Ned rig was key in getting us a large amount of the bites but I'm sure that many pitching lures would have worked in these conditions as long as the bait can be fished shallow. The bass were not in the chasing mood, I tried to fish a crankbait and a swim jig, but we didn't have any bites on those lures.
