In this video, we explore some of the most iconic places Cappadocia Turkey has to offer. Cappadocia is a reasonably large region that consists of 4 cities: Nevşehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, and Niğde. Thus the area is divided into color-coded sections that coincide with the names of the different organized tours. Day 1 We begin our journey on horseback through the valleys and foothills of the Cappadocian mountains. Along the ride, we get to see the natural wonder and iconic "Fairy Chimneys." Day 2 We start the day with a hot air balloon ride to get a spectacular view of the sunrise over Rose Valley. Next, we take the Green Tour exploring some of the most beautiful landscapes in south Cappadocia. Our tour takes us to Selime Monastery, Ihlara Valley, the ancient Derinkuyu Underground City, the beautiful pigeon valley, and a government-backed jewelry shop! Day 3 On our final day, we take the famous Red Tour that covers the northern region of Cappadocia. Our tour takes us to the top of Ortahisan Castle, a natural rock fortress with very sketchy guard rails. Next, we head to the city of Avanos and learn century-old techniques to make our very own clay pottery. The day ends with an ATV ride through the mountains for one last Cappadocian sunset!
