Abandoned UK Asylum - Rauceby Hospital

A Quick look around filmed on my Phone, nothing fancy. I’ll be back ! History - Opening in 1902 the hospital was used as an Asylum and even acted as an RAF hospital during WW2 before being handed back to the public shortly after. It closed in 1997 with major demolition work being carried out for a new housing estate that changed the landscape forever. Strangely not all of the hospital was demolished and random buildings that were once all connected over a huge site are now scattered all over. I hope to return here and make a more in depth video showing what remains in more detail. I had great fun walking around, the wildlife was stunning with hundreds of butterfly’s & wildflowers taking over the once occupied space between what’s left of the buildings.
