A few rival gangsters such as Shiraz Comrade were nabbed by the police earlier this year, but major powerplayers such as Uzair Baloch seem untouchable. Some people in Lyari feared that this battle may never end because elements within the police and intelligence agencies do not want peace and normalcy restored in the area.
