Teenager Safaa Boular (illustrated top right in a court sketch) planned to attack tourists at the British Museum but her plot was uncovered after she was stopped trying to travel to Syria. After she was arrested, Safaa encouraged her older sister Rizlaine (pictured second from bottom right and their mother, corner right), 22, to pick up her mantle and launch a knife attack at the Palace of Westminster. Her mother, 44-year-old hardline fundamentalist Mina Dich, encouraged her daughters (pictured together in their childhood, left) to carry out atrocities and even drove Rizlaine around tourist hotspots and bought a selection of knives and a rucksack.
