This stylish coming-of-age tale follows a Dutch-Moroccan teen as he cares for his junkie father while descending into a world of criminality in order to impress the neighborhood girl. Prince blends stark authenticity and dreamlike surrealism while also employing non-professional actors to portray life in the streets in contemporary Amsterdam and a '80s-style soundtrack.
