Wow, things went so much better today. Figured out some shortcuts, no distractions from other building issues, and perfect weather. Hopefully I can get rail and cable complete alone since my “little helper” is busy right now. As far as the long stretch down the front we have a big problem. The facia board warped terribly and will need to be removed so that means the decking may or may not be affected. We are actually looking for some type of composite or something that will resist warping to replace that. The sides of the deck being a shorter board don’t seem to be affected as much by the warping so I might just have them overlay those boards with whatever material we choose for that front facial board.
