With foxes killing lots of new born lambs every night, I have been contracted for a few nights to shoot as many as possible. Protecting the defenceless baby lambs and the farmers income. 3 long nights across 3 neighbouring properties during which I witnessed first hand, the carnage these foxes were causing. Countless dead lambs, most of which were not eaten by the foxes, just killed and left to rot. Such a sad sight and utterly devastating to the farmers. Patience, experience and using the best gear enabled me to permanently remove 48 foxes from the lambing paddocks this visit. It certainly won't solve the issue but it will go a long way towards increasing the lamb survival rate.
