Therefore, Japan had to start with the Mukden incident, which later Japan succeeded in entering Manchuria, China in 1931. Over the years, Japan had succeeded in extracting natural wealth from Manchuria. But Japan is not satisfied with that. So that in 1937 Japan wanted to control all of China. So after the Marco Polo incident, Japan started with a big war in Shanghai against China. Unlike before, China is now swiftly defending its territory. So the war in Shanghai made Japan overwhelmed.
