Comparing the old lore with the new, and putting to rest some rumors that just won't go away. I tried as hard as I could to dig up something definitive in the lore to suggest that Sanguinius put a chink in Horus's armor and that chink allowed the Emperor to triumph over Horus, but it was not to be. Perhaps the biggest talking point about the fate of Sanguinius in the Warhammer 40K community is a legend. In-universe Imperial propaganda at best.
