The Misunderstanding of Cabaret's Title Number

The title song of Kander & Ebb's hit musical, Cabaret, is widely misunderstood when it comes to how it should be performed and, in this video, we will take a look at why that is. NOTE: This video isn't me trying to say that people aren't allowed to dislike any specific performance of the song or that people shouldn't be critical of media or anything like that. The point I'm making in this video is that the reason(s) why a lot (not all) of people take issue with these clips is misguided, and exploring why these clips have become so misunderstood. ALSO, I have been corrected by someone in the comments about something: Bob Fosse was not the original choreographer for Cabaret, the stage musical.
