A Brief Bio of Dr. Soumik Das: A prominent face in Facebook and Winner of MIRCHI MUSIC AWARD in 2019. His songs have been aired from several satellite tv channels like- Aakash8, Tara Muzik etc. Several FM stations broadcasted his original compositions including- Big FM, Aamar FM etc. Born in 1982, he belongs to a musical family. His ancestors are mostly radio artists of their time. Soumik stepped in to music through classical guitar and started composing songs of his own. Kabir Suman, Nachiketa, Salil Chowdhury, Joyjit Lahiri, Goutam Chattopadhyay and AR Rehman are the greatest impacts in his musical upbringing. He has started his first band in the year 2001 in Asansol named "Sparshok" probably the first performing bangla band of Asansol City.
