Decided to use a MIDI for Stardust Speedway instead of the actual boss fight because it genuinely is just that song with minor differences, like the HUE HUE HUE's for example, and the general atmosphere itself to give it a different tone. For this however I have some custom drum fx's in the DAC. (Yep using the DAC again) And using FL Studio's effector tool to add the hue's in a "bitcrushed" format to make it sound crunchy if it were on hardware. Story: Deep inside the belly of the beast of Death Egg MKII, Sonic and Tails get ambushed by Metal Sonic and Robotnik in his new prototype of an Eggmobile, (inspired by the movies) Metal charges and attacks with his new powers from both Robotnik and a mysterious new energy. Will this 2 against 2 be hard for our heroes or will they come out easily? Meanwhile with Knuckles he is up against the new and improved Eggrobo (basically the same in S3 replacing all of Robotniks bosses) Seeking revenge on the space station to get Knuckles once and for all... About the Song: Tried to stick with that atmospheric tone that the remix uses with the instruments from Death Egg MKII, using both a slap bass and the death eggs bass provided a funky sounding tune. As I said I got samples of the "hue" from Sonic CD and cranked up the effector in FL to make it that good old YM2612 crunchiness, Then ofc I used Sonic 3's DAC for more sound effects included in it and it overall just sounds more better in this. About The Image: Nothing really standing out except for now that you guys can possibly see in the background is that I used Metallic Madness Good Future's background structures for the construction, then the movie styled Eggmobile I used is from Dolphman. I've seen mods and fangames were people use the life box and add another one as a bosses health so I decided to incorporate that with Metal Sonic and some of the other bosses I've made songs for.
