My tomatoes in my allotment no-dig garden beds have been neglected and have consequently grown a lot of side shoots. It is time for me to construct a way for them to climb up and be supported as well as side shooting them so all the plants energy goes into growing fruits on the main stem. I then construct two garden beds from old wood and place them on either side of my allotment so I can plant out some sunflowers. I then construct a tippee and plant out some Morning Glory plants. I harvest the first peas and courgettes from the allotment along with some beetroot, spring onions, sweet peas and Swiss chard. In the home garden I have a terrible onion harvest as something has ruined my crop of onions. They have been growing in my asparagus bed but they have either been hit by white rot or eel worm, either way most of the harvest has been destroyed. I harvest the onions which still look good and add them to the harvest around the home garden. From the home garden we get strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, lettuce and potatoes. I then share my watering tip for creating a dunk tank which makes feeding and watering much easier.
