Hey yall. Guess what?!? TODAY was my preop appointment for my #liposuctionbeforeandafter surgery and everything went well. Please like comment and subscribe and tell a friend to tell a friend she back……. #bblsquad #newlifeplasticsurgery #miami #bbl #plasticsurgeon #dowbak #bigbutt Pre-op preparation can be just as important for your recovery and results as what you do post-op. For best results, start your prep several months early. As a bare minimum, please do the following things before your procedure. Talk to Your Surgeon Early Try to schedule your consultation as early as possible before the procedure. Your plastic surgeon may recommend or demand that you do certain things pre-op. They may recommend a physical exam, a lab test, or changes in your medication routine. Always make sure they have records of your medical history, too. The more information, the better. This will help them customize their recommendations for you. Gain Weight if the Procedure Requires You To Most dolls who want BBL surgery need to gain a few pounds before the procedure. That doesn’t mean you need to stop at McDonald’s every day. Don’t do that! Eat healthy meals, but add 300-500 calories a day beyond what you burn. Start early and add those pounds slowly over time. Avoid Tanning Tanning can have a bad impact on your healing process and cause excess bleeding. The most dangerous time to do it is less than three weeks before your surgery. Avoid getting a lot of sun exposure and stay away from tanning booths. Stop Using Drugs and Herbal Supplements That Thin Your Blood As you enter the final two or three weeks pre-op, ask your surgeon before taking any aspirin, supplements, or anti-inflammatory drugs. Many of them thin your blood. Thinner blood and surgery don’t mix!
