Examination System for Law Programs | Need and Mechanics | Prof NL Mitra

This video shows an articulation on objective, purpose, types, frequency and duration of examinations in the Law domain. A legal educationalist par excellence, product of Calcutta and Utkal Universities, Prof NL Mitra has authored eleven books and over 200 research papers. He is widely recognized as an academic, researcher, educational planner, institutional builder, legal advisor and legal draftsman. He has been Vice Chancellor of NLSIU Bangalore (1997-2000), NLU Jodhpur (2001-2004) and an advisor to the Governor of RBI on financial sector #lawreforms. He teaches regularly in West Bengal Judicial Academy and is on board of several corporates as an independent director. Prof Mitra has single handedly changed the shape and direction of legal education in the country. He has been the Chairman of several important Government of India committees and has advised Reserve Bank of India and other important bodies. KIIT School of Law functions under his able supervision and guidance. He is not only the Chairman of the National Advisory Board of the above school but also the Chancellor of KIIT University. With his scholarship and intellect, KIIT School of Law is emerging as India’s leading law school.
