Hello everybody ! It's me ! Harley :D Thank you all to be here. Today i'm playing la "Valse d'Amélie" composed by Yann Tiersen for the film "The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain" (2001). Written by Jeunet with Guillaume Laurant, the film is a whimsical depiction of contemporary Parisian life, set in Montmartre ! Montmartre is a really beautiful place in Paris. You must see it ! :D So... This piece has 5 parts ... 1) Slow in a 2/4 measures. So it's not yet the rhythm of a waltz. 2) The walz is beggining, and you can dance on this part. 3) Really faster, you will probably stop dancing I think xD 4) You just mix le right hand of part 2 and left hand of part 3 ! 5) Slow again ! With no cadences at the end It was my first "hard piece". I played this piece at 9 years old ! Everyone was looking at me with big eyes because I wasn't Asian and I was even playing very fast ! (ok I'm half Russian, so am I half Asian ?) But, you know...playing fast has nothing to do with your race x) It's your PARENTS's race !! xD I'm jocking ... My father is french and it was THE person who said to me "Ok, do 3h of piano and after you can play with others children" ... Ok Dad -.-' Now, if I want to be looked at as before, I have to play pieces like Scarbo by Maurice Ravel. Do you know it ? It's TERRIBLE I love you all ! Love n Peace angels. Work hard ! And don't forget to subscribe :) Instagram : / harleyvolkova Twitter : / harleyvolkova Facebook : http://bit.ly/2FHQkan
