Tomorrow Is Inspiring Our Future. Our students sing a song at the Elementary school about how God is changing acorns into oaks. "He is teaching me to grow, learning to trust and obey. I am getting stronger every day." At Oak Grove Lutheran School, we too, are nurturing our acorns into mighty oaks by inspiring them to impact God's world. "From little acorns, mighty oaks do grow" - American Proverb Be inspired by our students and give a gift, tomorrow, on Giving Hearts Day to help grow our acorns into the mighty oaks of Oak Grove Lutheran School! Within folklore, "the story of the acorn serves as a moral lesson, one of growth, potential, patience, and faith." God is directing our story at Oak Grove. One that we are happy to walk alongside with Him as we help our students grow in their relationships with God, their classmates and staff, rise to their fullest and strongest potential, and yes, it comes with a little patience from all of us. Tomorrow, during Giving Hearts Day, I will also remember the story of the acorn and the song, "Changing Acorns to Oaks." I have faith that our community of friends, family, and supporters will once again help us reach our lofty goal, because the work we do here is God's love at work. Giving Hearts Day is about supporting a mission that has impacted so many through the years. Your generosity and inspiration today will continue this good work. So whether you are an alumni, a current parent, a former parent, a grandparent of a Grover, or whether you have no connection at all with Oak Grove Lutheran School...please make a gift this Giving Hearts Day. Our acorns and mighty oaks are inspiring! Grace to you, Shellie Simonson Ulven Interim Chief Advancement Officer
