The city of Augsburg has a population of 300,000 and 885,000 in its metropolitan area. Interesting sites to visit are the Town Hall, the Perlachturm and the market, the Fuggerei, the Fugger's City Palace, Fünfgratturm tower, Cathedral of St. Maria, Augsburg Synagogue and the St. Ulrich and St. Afra Cathedral.
