@DriverD Trains #5.f – Managing JMRI Locomotive Rosters Welcome to Driver D Trains. Thanks for stopping by! I’m your host Driver D. Our conductor and brakeman Scratchy-C, just got back from an Italian vacation! […!] In my last video, we looked at some different types of alternative physical controllers we can use as throttles with JMRI and DCC-EX to run our trains. If you haven’t already seen that video, be sure to check it out! In this video, we’ll look at some ways we can manage our JMRI locomotive rosters, as well as some of the additional ways that we can customize and configure JMRI. We’ll also look at some JMRI features designed specifically for DCC-EX. This video will wrap up our first series of videos on using JMRI with DCC-EX to control our trains. This initial series of videos has focused on JMRI’s DecoderPro app, and throttles for running our locomotives. We’ll look at the PanelPro app and turnout control later. Be sure to check below for links to the other videos in the series, as well as the various websites and products I mention here. Also, if you are enjoying the videos, please leave a comment, and hit the ‘Like’ button. And if you haven’t already, please subscribe to the channel. Today’s trip is going to be a local, with a lot of stops and a bit of bumpy rail, so grab your things and let’s go find our train. After that we’ll look at some additional hardware projects for DCC-EX, such as adding a second LCD and an OLED display, and assembling an EX-FastClock. We’ll also look at some ways to modify the EX-CommandStation software, as well as explore more DCC-EX automations in EX-Rail. There’s lots more to come, so don’t get sleepy at the throttle. So until then… Thanks for watching! Well Scratchy, did you enjoy traveling around Italy on the high speed rail? [Meow!] 180 miles per hour!?! Wow!! [Meow!] Well, I’m glad you’re back. That guy you sent to fill in only wanted to talk about turkeys! [Meow!] Yes, it is hard to find good help. All aboard! DriverDTrains ©2024
